I couldn't agree more.

Price and Quality always seem to reflect each other and you want to know that your carpet cleaner is going to give you the best possible quality for the best possible price. While many people understand that to get the best quality carpet clean, you should ask for Steam Cleaning… a little known fact is that not all steam cleaning is the same!

A high percentage of steam cleaners in the industry use smaller, portable machines, similar to machines that you can hire yourself. The clean that these small, lightweight machines provide is no better than Dry Cleaning

A professional Hot Water Extraction unit flushes the carpet from from root to tip with hot water and extracts it at up to 1000PSI of pressure!

This method cleans the surface of the carpet, AND the deepest fibers of the carpet right from the root to the tip. This means thatt the carpet will not only be much cleaner than if dry cleaned or steam cleaned by a smaller, less powerful machine, but it will also stay clean for a much longer period of time.

SELECTING A VACUUM CLEANER

18 Nov 2009 12:00 AMGary Bourke

The majority of soil in carpet is dry, insoluble, particle matter. Dry soil is often abrasive and can harm carpet fibers if not removed.

Routine vacuuming is the most important step in a carpet maintenance program. It enhances the appearance and prolongs the useful life of carpet by lifting the fibers and removing harmful soil particles. Proper vacuuming also helps create a healthier indoor environment by removing pollutants such as dust mites and their faeces, discarded human skin cells that mites feed upon, mold spores and biological contaminants collected in the carpet.

It is obvious that the selection of the right vacuum cleaner is therefore very important. The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), which is a certifying body for carpet cleaning professionals, offers these tips on selecting a vacuum cleaner:

Upright vacuum cleaners are generally more efficient
A top-load vacuum works more efficiently than a bottom-load
The vacuum cleaner head should be equipped with a beater bar or revolving brush.
A dual motor vacuum, utilizing one motor to operate the beater bar and one for the vacuum, is most efficient
It should be equipped with a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration system
